Testing is an essential part of building your workflow, when you click on the Test button on the top right of the editor, you will see a panel open up and it will prompt you to fill in any fields you defined in the Start step, which can be used as variables for your steps.

For example: using the SEO Content Template, after clicking on test, these were the pre-configured fields from the Start step.

You can either edit the defaults that are filled out here, or you can just click run. Then it will visually show you it’s progress and which step it’s currently running.

If at any moment one of your steps run into an error, you will see a user friendly representation of the error telling you what went wrong and give you a good idea on how to fix it. For example; let’s pass an invalid url in the field and see what error it shows us.

Here we see an error showed up, telling us that something went wrong with the Webscraper Service, it is telling us the URL scheme is not supported, since we passed in hps://www.tryleap.ai instead of https://www.tryleap.ai.

Once you fix the error you can run it again. If you believe the error is not in your control, please don’t hesitate to open a support ticket by clicking on the Help button located at the bottom right of the screen.
